Janardhan has been an active figure in politics and social service since 2001. Beginning his journey in the Youth Congress, he quickly rose through the ranks to become the Youth Congress Black President. His dedication and commitment to public welfare led to his appointment in 2023 as the Vice Chairman of the “5 Guarantees” initiative launched by the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC). He also serves as the President of the Central Campaign Committee , leading impactful campaigns aimed at improving people’s lives.
Recognizing his relentless work for the society, and with the recommendation of respected leaders Shri Siddaramaiah , Shri D. K. Shivakumar , and Shri Ramalinga Reddy , Hemalatha Janardhan was given the opportunity for candidate for BBMP Corporator for the Sri Rama Mandir Ward in 2010 and 2015.
Over the years, Janardhan and Hemalatha Janardhan have tirelessly worked for community development—improving civic amenities, addressing local issues, and ensuring that government benefits reach the people. Their social initiatives have strengthened education, healthcare, and infrastructure in their wards.
With overwhelming support from the people and a proven track record of service, Hemalatha Janardhan is once again contesting for the position of BBMP Corporator, this time for the Shakthi Ganapathi Nagar Ward in the upcoming BBMP elections.
