Journey

My journey in politics and social service began in 2001, when I joined the Youth Congress with a simple dream — to serve the people and bring change to our community.

Milestones Along the Way

  • 2001 – Joined Youth Congress and began grassroots social work.
  • 2005 – Elected Youth Congress Black President, leading youth-driven initiatives.
  • 2010 – With the blessings of senior leaders and the trust of the people, Hemalatha Janardhan was Selected candidate for BBMP BBMP Corporator for Sri Rama Mandir Ward .
  • 2015 – Again With the blessings of senior leaders and the trust of the people, Hemalatha Janardhan was Selected candidate for BBMP BBMP Corporator for Sri Rama Mandir Ward.
  • 2023 – Appointed Vice Chairman of the 5 Guarantees Program by the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) and President of the Central Campaign Committee.
  • 2025 – With people’s support, contesting once again — this time for Shakthi Ganapathi Nagar Ward in the upcoming BBMP elections.

What This Journey Means to Me:

For me, this journey is not just about positions held — it is about the lives touched, the problems solved, and the hope restored in people’s hearts. Every step I have taken has been guided by the trust and support of my community.

From small initiatives like fixing streetlights and cleaning drains, to larger works improving roads, schools, and healthcare access — every achievement belongs to the people who stood with us.

This journey continues — with the same passion, the same dedication, and the same belief that together, we can create lasting change.
